I thought allowing visitors to comment on photos would work out. Sadly, there are many people out there who are rude, stupid, ignorant and sometimes all three at once. For the past couple of weeks, I had removed the ability to flag posts and just let the comments run amuck. It just goes to show that when people are allowed to post whatever they want, they indeed will. During the first 6 months of this projects, I have enjoyed reading the captions posted by everyone. Those of you who have submitted info on each days pictures have been a valuable help since the main person who would know who, what, when, where and why is no longer with us. I hope that you will continue to do so knowing that even though they are not visible to everyone right now, they may caption the photo in the future. Thank you.
