These two Seagrave tillers were delivered the same year, but had many differences in construction.

I would imagine that many of the film studios had (or have) their own apparatus.  It would be interesting to see other photo from "Hollywood"!

Ripley - Union Township OH
1933 Ford/Seagrave
500 GPM - 200 Tank
#74600

The Seagrave paint shop log shows this pumper as being built for West Frankfort, Illinois with a notation that the rig was sold to Ripley.  The R.F.D. has owned the piece since it was new, so my guess would be that W.F.F.D. couldn't make the purchase during the Depression.  Steve Hagy photo.

Political Correctness (def.) - a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
