Youngstown just sold the most historic firehouse in the city and essentially closed it in three years and there is no public debate? Are you kidding me?!

It's sad to see that government officals are selling whatever they can to balance their budgets. I think everyone see this fire station closing within 3 years. (Well, they won't have a station anymore) I guess it's a "polite" way for the Mayor to say he is cutting the fire department force down and making money in the process.

The City has been shrinking for the past 35 years, what is sad is what has become of it

Fire Station 7 got sold? I hope they build a new one for them. I rode there once, it's a great station.

They won't build a new one. They will run the engine out of #1.

HOW  CAN THEY JUST SELL  A BUILDING VEHICLE  ETC WITH NO PREVIOUS NOTICE HuhHuh     IN PHILA  THE COUNCIL HAS TO  APPROVE  SALES TO A POINT .    VEHICLES  ARE SOLD BY A CITY AGENCY   HIGHEST BID

ONE OF THE DEPTS  HAS TO DECLARE THE VEHICLE AS  SURPLUS AND  SELL IT OFF
