- APPARATUS LIST -

Station 1


Ladder 22 - 2000 Sutphen Model 100 100' Mid-Mount Aerial Platform. It responds to alarms north of the Mahoning River and citywide on a second alarm.

Squad 33 - 2002 Pierce Enforcer Rescue Engine. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability and carries 750 gallons of water on board.

Battalion 1 - 2005 Ford Excursion.

Boat 1

Parade 1 - 1953 American LaFrance 700 series with a 750gpm pump. This truck was originally placed in service at Station No. 9.

Engine 4 (Spare) - 1987 Pierce Dash.

Engine 5 (Spare) - 1989 Pierce Arrow. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability and carries 500 gallons of water on board. The telesquirt section was removed in January of 2007. This unit was out of service between Dec 1999 and Feb 2000 while getting body work and a new all red paint job. The unit also returned with the department's graphic package.

Engine 8 (Spare) - 1987 Pierce Dash. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability and carries 750 gallons of water on board. 


Shop 1 - Chevy 2500 4X4.

Inspection - Chief Inspector - 2003 Ford Taurus.

Inspection - Inspector's Vehicle - 2002 Chevy Malibu.
 

Station 2


Engine 2 - 2006 Pierce Saber. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability. The truck went into frontline service in January 2007.

Ladder 24 - 1992 Duplex/Grumman Aerialcat. The rig has a 1500 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability and carries 200 gallons of water on board. It has a four door, low profile cab, and a 102ft ladder. It responds to alarms south of the Mahoning River and citywide on a second alarm.

Battalion 2 - 2006 Chevy Suburban LS. Battalion 2 responds citywide on all structure fires. This unit was Safety 1 for a while and is now being referred to again as Battalion 2 (9/14/98).

Station 3


Engine 3 - 2008 Pierce Velocity 75 foot quint. The truck carries 500 gallons of water and has a 1500 gallon per minute pump. The truck went into service on Thursday, October 30, 2008.


Station 6


Engine 6 - 1998 Pierce Saber. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability and carries 750 gallons of water on board.


Station 7


Engine 7. 2002 Pierce Contender Engine. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability and carries 750 gallons of water on board. The truck went into frontline service the morning of May 6, 2002?


Station 9


Engine 9 - 2002 Pierce Contender. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability and carries 750 gallons of water on board. The truck went into frontline service as Engine 2 the morning of May 6, 2002.


Station 12


Engine 12 - 1998 Pierce Saber. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability and carries 750 gallons of water on board. It has a top mount pump and a four-door enclosed cab.


Station 14


Unit 14 - Ford Econoline.


Station 15


Engine 15 - 2006 Pierce Saber. The rig has a 1250 gallon per minute (gpm) pumping capability. The truck went into frontline service as Engine 7 in January 2007.
