Photos are available on the YFD in Action Galleries. I'd like to thank the firefighters at Engine 2 and Station 2 and the chief for letting me ride along for a day. During my ride along at Station 2, I gave Firefighter Tim Frease a crash course in web design. He will be adding to and maintaining the new YFD Union 312 page. Check it out at local312.youngstownfire.com.

What is a blog?

On the Internet, a blog (short for weblog) is a personal journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or reflect the purpose of the Web site that hosts the blog. Topics sometimes include brief philosophical musings, commentary on Internet and other social issues. The essential characteristics of the blog are its journal form, typically a new entry each day, and its informal style. The author of a blog is often referred to as a blogger.

When will the blog be active?

Begining around 8am on Satruday, December 10th, the ride along blog will become active. I'll be riding with the crew of Engine 2 B-Turn.

When will the blog end?

8:00am on Sunday, December 11th.

How many calls will you go on?

Lots :) (I hope)

How will you update your blog?

This blog is actually a script that will check an email address periodically. I'll be sending emails to the script which will display them on this page when you visit. I have capabilities to email via my cell phone if we are out on an incident.

Can I have some information about the station before hand?

You can find out all about Station 2 on the current station section here at youngstownfire.com.
