Welcome to the Youngstown Metro Fire Page Association or YMFPA for short.
The YMFPA is a fire call alerting system for the city of Youngstown, Ohio. This service has the capability of notifying you via email of fire related incidents such as structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous material incidents, weather alerts, breaking news and more! If you have an email address or wireless device with an email address, you can get YMFPA dispatches.
Call coverage is limited to just incidents being handled by the Youngstown Fire Department.
The YMFPA sends out any box 4 responses (single, double, or triple truck response) and box 5 responses (structure fire response of typically 3 engines, the squad, a ladder, and both battalions) regardless of whether there is a working fire. If a YFD unit responds, we welcome the alert!
This paging service, like many others like it, require your help. Fire calls are paged out by you the listener. The volume of pages we get through the system depends on you, the dispatchers. If you hear a call and are online, take a moment and dispatch it out.
